James has recently returned to being self-employed, so this is a new website currently in development (Summer '26)
James Lindsay is a highly experienced Landscape Gardener with over 30 years of experience between self-employment and working for charities.

“Oh my goodness, where to start! We set SPACE the task of reworking our patio and paths using the existing slabs as we live up 27 steps and bringing up any new paving stones would have been a nightmare. James was just miraculous at coming up with solutions which not only made the whole area look superb but improved the drainage, weed control and workability of the patio and paths. We expected just a bit of a tidy up but what we got will make our garden look fantastic for a long time to come. Jim and I were just amazed at what James and Steph managed to achieve, we cannot recommend them highly enough.
I think we have all become used to tradespeople who don’t communicate properly, don’t turn up when they tell you they will and leave a trail of carnage in their wake, SPACE are the absolute opposite, Steph kept us informed of an estimated slot for our job and updated us closer to the start date so that we knew exactly what was happening. James chatted with us throughout the job about improvements and adjustments as he went along, they were honestly just a dream.
SPACE were with us in the hottest days of the year and James even kept my plants watered while we were on holiday.
